Reconstruction design for the fuel logistics facility complex at Kabul airport (Afghanistan) completed

Reconstruction design for the fuel logistics facility complex at Kabul international airport (KAIA) is completed. The project will be soon continuing with the procurement process of selecting a building contractor. After that Amhold´s assignment is to supervise the building construction process and also provide consulting during the construction period. 

As the head designer of the project Amhold performed the site planning and designed the building constructions, climate control systems, drainage and sewage systems, fuel technology systems, road and traffic management solutions, and the electricity, security and surveillance solutions. The project also included special engineering solutions for preventing terrorist attacks and for the security of the logistic facility.  The design was also completed in a 3D-model.
