Fuel Station at ISAF HQ, Kabul, Afghanistan Completed

Amhold Ltd performed engineering design review and on site construction supervision for fuel storage and filling station at International Security Assistance Force  Head Quarters (ISAF RS HQ), Kabul, Afghanistan. Services provided by Amhold included also client consultation in technological issues, therefore, a fuel storage and filling station technology expert-engineer was involved in the team.

Apart from the requirements to conventional civil service stations, in addition to yet so strict safety standards of fuel storage facilities, other possible environmental factors were emphasized. For example, an important aspect for the client was protecting the fuel tanks from terrorist attacks (incl attacks with hand firearms, grenades, large-caliber weapons and rocket attacks, among others).

Today, the construction works are finished, the site delivered to the client, and the fuel storage and filling station at disposal.
