A new kindergarten opened in Nõmme, Rännaku puiestee

On Wednesday, 14.10.2009, a new kndergarten was opened in Nõmme, Rännaku puiestee. At the cerenomy, the mayor of Tallinn, Edgar Savisaar, the vice-mayor of Tallinn, Kaia Jäppinen, and the head of the municipal district Nõmme, Rainer Vakra, were present.

The new kindergarten provides room for 120 children, who form 6 groups in total and are Nõmme residents waiting for a kindergarten place. There are playgrounds, a sports ground, outdoor rooms and a flag area in the kindergarten. Each group has separate play- and bedrooms as well as wardrobes and restrooms. In addition, there is a music and sports hall available.

The total cost of the kindergarten including kitchen furnishing, furniture, etc., is about 25 million Estonian kroons.
