Cornerstone for Jõhvi Police and Rescue Board Building

On October 29th, a cornerstone was laid to a new common building of the Police and Rescue Service in Jõhvi in an official ceremony.

The building design was performed by Amhold Ltd. The author of the architectural part of the building is architect Ott Ojamaa and co-architect is Jane Pärnamaa.

The new building will be built on a plot located at 38 Rahu st. Area occupied by construction works of an L-shape building is 3113.6 m², closed net area is 8436.5 m² and the number of floors is 4+1. The main portion of the building is situated in Rahu street; an additional small two-storey section is facing Marja street and a gradually diminishing extension will be built to Nooruse street.

The construction value of the building is 77.46 million Estonian kroons and the building is planned to be completed by July of 2011 at the latest.
