Construction project for the reconstruction of Jalalabad Airfield facilities completed
28.01.2019In January 2019, an integrated construction project was completed at Amhold Ltd.’s office for the reconstruction and extension of Jalalbad Airfield, Afghanistan. Among other engineering parts of the project , the design included a detailed calculation of the cost of the construction work, a schedule for the organization and timeline of the construction phases, and an analysis of assessment and minimization of possible risks. The design was based on engineering, technical, climatic, geotechnical and seismological surveys and in cooperation with engineering companies of Estonia, Afghanistan, UK, Canada, USA and Turkey in 2017-2019. The reconstruction of the airport is planned for 2019-2021.
